The players are claimed to have hired prostitutes while on the island, and they were only caught out as their female companions were invited for breakfast the morning after.Reports from German outlet Bild stated several members of the youth squad were suspended in the wake of the incident.The players involved are all alleged to have been born in 2003, though their ages have not been officially disclosed.

The parents of other members of the squad not involved in the scandal were also staying in the hotel and reportedly witnessed the women being brought down for breakfast.One parent, as quoted by Bild, said: “We were all really shocked. That doesn’t fit with the image of football. This is nothing about discipline.”Football's top transfers from the 2019 summer transfer window so far Beskitas have now come out to strongly deny the claims in a statement released to Turkish news agency Duhuliye.“We also heard about this sex scandal today,” the statement read. “However, the case is not as it is written in the media.“Our under-16 team were in Rhodes 40 days ago. One of the players invited his girlfriend to the hotel but the coaches realised and reacted immediately.“This player has been left out of the squad. The case is not as big as it is has been exaggerated.Despite Besiktas denying the incident took place as reported, it is understood all the players involved in the alleged event HAVE been suspended by the Super Lig club.
